In our latest update (which can be found here) we launched an appeal to raise funds for our new smaller and more versatile vehicle. We have always been, and will be, a service that adapts to the needs of young people we seek to serve. With our current vehicle, in the current circumstances, it would not be safe for us to go out on a Friday night and we have also noticed that over the past few years we see lots of smaller groups of young people rather than one big group at any given time.

We are seeking to get a van that we will convert to suit our needs. This will be a multi-purpose vehicle. With fewer team members we will be able to open up the back doors and serve our famous hot chocolate, have drug/alcohol awareness activities and advertise the services we have on offer. Then when we have a larger team we will open up the side doors which will enable young people to come on board, sit, chat, play a game and all the normal activities we have on our current vehicle. We will also have an awning with tables and chairs outside.

This will enable us to be out more often (different nights of the week as well as after school), visit more schools regularly and access harder to reach places. We have an amazing team of volunteers and we want to maximise the impact they can have with the time they give.

We are setting ourselves a budget of £15,000 to get this up and running. We will also need to raise £12,500 per annum to keep the project on the road. If you would like to give to this appeal then you are able to in the following ways:
